I realized today I haven't posted here in a VERY long time. oops. so....here are things i have done since the last time i posted...

cut my hair. it's so cute!!
i am currently helping a friend through a breakup. sad things.
am packing so i can move less than 2 weeks. i hate packing
took a ballet final
am getting ready for finals
loving life!!!

I am sorry that I haven't posted here in a while. Life has been pretty busy, what with my Ballet Showcase performance and school work and all that jazz. Our show went SO well though, and I'm really happy with how everything ended up turning out.

I know I haven't been very consistent with my PAD....but here's one for today, and it's artsy enough that maybe you can forgive me for not posting one for ages?

I took my favorite roommate since time began to the MTC today. So not surprisingly, my PAD is from that little trip. It was a hard decision, but I went for the cute one of her at the MTC with her name tag on. ;)

Isn't she just adorable? She was glowing the entire time. I love her so much. [sigh] I'm really going to miss her, but she's
going to be AMAZING!!!!

I had the bestest party ever Saturday night. It seriously rocked. I made yummy cake, there was chocolate fountain and all sorts of other amazing goodness. :-D OH! and I gave a boy my number. go me.

I chose this photo for saturday because me and my twin jill were the queens of the night...i thought it appropriate. ;)

Today has been a FANTASTIC birthday. I am loving it! Kyle surprised me and brought me the most beautiful flower bouquet. It is absolutely gorgeous. He's such a good friend, but I miss seeing him every day as my boyfriend. sigh.

anyways....

other good htings: my ballet class sang to me, my muscle feels a little better, i have dinner with my family tonight.

I love birthdays. :-D

so...my birthday is tomorrow!!! and today to celebrate, my office brought me apple crisp and decorated my office. they rock my socks. ;) also...after talking to chilly...i've decided to copy her and do my own PAD. now....it might not actually turn into a PAD...but i'm going to try. so...here goes. my first PAD!! plus...i don't have a fancy camera or anything...but yeah. here goes.

this is my yummy, yummy apple crisp. yum. i love my job, my birthday and apple crisp.

there are only 4 days until my birthday. rock on. :-) i love my birthday. i always have, and always will. :D Birthdays are the time when I can expect the world to revolve around me for just a little while. I like this. I enjoy being the center of attention. This is probably because I am the oldest child and was the center of attention for a long time. :)

anywho, this year my birthday consists of the following:

dinner with my family
party with my twin....from anotha motha
cake and ice cream
disney on ice date with bill (a week later...but it's still my birthday date)
a hair cut (although this is something i'll get a few weeks after my birthday because I have to wait for my show to be over)
lots of well wishes and birthday songs for me (i hope)
ATTENTION!!!

he he he. It's going to be a good birthday. now to just get through the next 4 days....

okay....so i apologize for not posting. i get distracted. i have a new friend. his name is bill. i met bill through chilly. who i have never met in real life. ha. it was funny because i met bill in real life last night when we went to a dollar movie....and i have only "known" him since Friday. Chilly was slightly jealous. ;)

all in all it was a fun evening, and i think we might do something again sometime. i like meeting new people. i like having new friends. this is important to me. i need new friends right now. i need new people in my life to do things with. sigh. i'm tired. this is all i can think of right now. have good day.

so .....

i went on a date last night. with a boy. but not "the" boy. in fact, i'm not interested at all. however, we went to my favorite restaurant, los hermanos. at said restaurant, there were 2 birthdays near our table and these lucky people got sung too.

first off, i love, love, LOVE my birthday. I actually enjoy it when people remember it is my birthday and they sing to me. so, i enjoy going to restaurants and having the waiters and waitresses sing to me.
second off, i love it even MORE when it is los hermanos singing to me. i love their birthday song that they do. especially the end where they go Ai i i i i i i eee!!!! :) so much fun.

Hello.

I feel like I need to do some sore of "introduction" like you always do your first day in a new ward, class, or FHE group.

Hmm....

I guess I could say that my name is Alishka Babushka. I am Senior at BYU majoring in Dance with a Ballet Emphasis. I like boys. I like to tell stories. I enjoy telling stories to my friends so I figured this would be a good place to compose my storytelling. Other than that, you're just going to have to read along to get to know me more.
